What is it?
The Sunflower Concert is put on by The Ilona Foundation with the simple purpose of offering an evening of great music that meets you on every path your journey is taking you. It is an evening of powerful worship and moving lament.
This annual concert series started in September, 2023 to honor the life and testimony of Ilona Bailey. Since then, it has grown to become an incredible evening of music that reminds us that no one walks alone.
Why we do this.
The goal of this series is to worship the Lord, raise funds for the Ilona Foundation’s ongoing mission of providing biblical grief counseling to Stafford and its surrounding counties, and enjoy great music from some talented artists.

The road ahead.
The 2025 Sunflower Concert will be September 26, 2025 at Stafford Crossings Church.

THE PORTER’S GATE
The Porter’s Gate is a sacred ecumenical arts collective reimagining and recreating worship that welcomes, reflects, and impacts both the community and the church.
CROOKED STICKS
Crooked Sticks is a collective of friends and family from Hope of Christ church in Stafford, VA.
It has been said that God can draw straight lines with crooked sticks. In the hands of the Perfect Artist, he uses warped and “crooked” people like us to accomplish His will and care for each other.

To continue to offer this as a free event and to support The Ilona Foundation’s grief support programs, a love offering will be collected during the concert.
